We were able to have my Mom and Dad come up and stay with us for the weekend. We weren't too exciting for them, but it was fun to visit. Tyler loves his Grandpa. Everytime they were in different rooms, Tyler would ask "Where's Grandpa?". It was so cute. We did go swimming at the the new Terwillegar Rec Center, which was pretty fun. They have a lazy river, a wave pool (though the waves weren't turned on), a pretty quick waterslide (which Tyler was allowed to go on with us), various heights of diving boards, and a kiddie pool. I think it's a pretty good set up.
On Sunday, we headed over to Russell and Andrea's house for Easter dinner. They bought an indoor bouncy house, which Tyler and Beck love. Those two are so cute to watch together. They are already little best friends. Beck called Tyler on the phone last night. It was so cute. Tyler wasn't too talkative (I don't think he quite gets it yet), but Beck was being fun.

Catch-Up
Here are some pictures to update you all on what we've been up to since our hard drive died.
First, here are Tyler and I ice fishing, with the fish that I caught. Thank you to Russell for holding the fish for me. I tried, but it just slipped right out of my hands.
Next, Tyler is taking a little break. No, he is not potty trained, but we like to give him as much time on the toilet as possible to get him used to the idea.
Here we are making cookies together. Tyler put in all of the ingredients. He had a great time and ate tons of dough.
We went to Galaxyland with Russell and Beck. The two boys had a great time playing on the rides together.

1 Lb Frozen Broccoli
1 cup shredded cheese
Put chicken in slow cooker. Add soup, water and broccoli. Cook on low 8 hours or high 3-4 hours. Add cheese, stir and serve.

Sweet Muffin Update
I made the Sweet Muffins (that I posted on a Make-It Monday) again last night. This time I added 1 tsp of cinnamon to the muffin and about 1/2 tsp cinnamon to the topping. They are wonderful. Definitely a good idea to add the cinnamon. It adds so much flavor. I love them now!

Make-It Monday
Today I thought I would share a couple of recipes for some children's activities for those who have little ones. I just found them the other day, and haven't tried them yet, but plan to give them a shot this coming weekend.
Incr(edible) Finger Paint
1/2 cup Cornstarch
3 Tbsp Sugar
1 pinch Salt
2 cups Cold Water
Food Coloring
Mix together cornstarch, sugar, salt and water in saucepan. Mix constantly over medium low heat until consistency of finger paint. This will take around 10 minutes. Let it cool to the touch. Separate into the number of containers you want to make. Add food coloring to desired boldness.
Peanut Butter Playdough
1 cup Peanut Butter
1/2 cup Honey
2 cups Powdered Sugar
Stir ingredients together. If not coming together smoothly, knead with your hands. This can be stored for a short while in your fridge if placed in Ziploc.

Make-It Monday
Yes, we are still alive! I haven't been blogging much lately because I haven't had a computer to upload our pictures to. We are doing well and having fun. Tyler helped me make cookies the other day, and really did help. He put in all of the ingredients, used the spatula to scrape the sides (and eat the dough) and turned the mixer on and off. It was a lot of fun.
Here is today's recipe:
