Make-It Monday

Yes, we are still alive! I haven't been blogging much lately because I haven't had a computer to upload our pictures to. We are doing well and having fun. Tyler helped me make cookies the other day, and really did help. He put in all of the ingredients, used the spatula to scrape the sides (and eat the dough) and turned the mixer on and off. It was a lot of fun.

Here is today's recipe:

Ingredients

cup granulated sugar
1
container (6 oz) Yoplait® Original 99% Fat Free French vanilla yogurt
2
tablespoons canola or vegetable oil
2
teaspoons vanilla
2
egg whites or 1/4 cup fat-free egg product
3/4
cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
1/2
cup unsweetened baking cocoa
1/2
teaspoon salt
Powdered sugar, if desired
 
Directions
 
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 8- or 9-inch square pan with cooking spray.
  1. In medium bowl, mix granulated sugar, yogurt, oil, vanilla and egg whites. Stir in all remaining ingredients except powdered sugar. Spread in pan.
  2. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Cut into 4 rows by 4 rows. Sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving.
Makes 16 brownies

I have not made these yet, but am looking forward to trying. They look good and sound interesting. I guess we'll have to see.
